Since when do dogs get their own blog? I don't even have my own blog!

Well, Luba, dear, this is a special case for just this neighborhood. Your comments are welcome but, I have no answer to your "since when" question. If you need a blog, you can ask Henri to help you. Love, Gayla

Gayla,

Could you inform the Landscape Committee that the weeds are taking over the stair steps to the river - and that 7-Dees could do a better job of keeping the steps and the walkway to the stairs clear of intruding weeds.

The LC will be updating this weed info today June 9th. They are working hard to get some of these issues resolved.

Big improvement! Not perfect.....still some weeds sticking out from under the steps.

Well those guys worked hard today. They'll be back next week and we can ask for some touch up and on going cleanup when they're here. I'll tell the LC.

Don't you agree, looking at the picture of the Furnace Street entrance, that it does no justice to Riverbend's reputation of luxury and sophistication? At least some colorful plantings could make a slight improvement. By the way, the monument sign can stand a cleaning.....

I heard Vidya and some other neighbors talking about this entrance area; plants and things. We dogs have noticed some very interesting scents in this patch. I wonder what they will do?

Dear Neighbors,
If you listen to the birds in the air, you soon will recognize the proud cry of this year's generation of Osprey. I love those birds...wish I could fly with them. My neighbor Ellie sent this clipping from NYT to me and after getting someone (Henri) to read it to me, I knew it had to be included in my blog. Take flight, Everyone!
