The HOA Board has discussed and consulted with our management company in an effort to clarify, formalize and re-state the HOA policies pertaining to guest parking and charging of electric vehicles. Please be informed of the following re-stated position of the Riverbend HOA and Board pertaining to these policies. These policies apply to all homeowners and each homeowner will be appropriately notified.
HOA guest parking and electric vehicle charging policies
1.Outside parking spaces are for the short-term use of guests. Short term is defined as not to exceed 3 days.
2.Guest parking permits are required for extended-stay guest parking exceeding 3 days. Such permits can be obtained by written request to (1) the HOA management company, (2) maintenance supervisor, or (3) an HOA board member. Approval of such a request is at the discretion of the recipient of the request, based on the type of vehicle, length of stay and/or concerns raised by the request.
3.If the permit is denied, the homeowner may request a review by the entire Board.
4.Multiple short-term requests may be interpreted as a part-time resident, thus subject to the two-car limit policy applied to all Riverbend units.
5.Riverbend does not have accommodations for charging electric vehicles. Conventional electric outlets are not allowed for this purpose.
6.Homeowners, may at their own expense, install appropriate electric vehicle charging stations in the garage after requesting and receiving an ARC approval for such installation.
7.Violation of these policies may result in towing of the offending vehicle without further notice.
It is the Board’s hope that the policies and clear and complete and all parties are properly informed. If you have any questions pertaining to the stated policies, please feel free to contact any of the Board members.
Sincerely,
Bill Eklund, Secretary, in behalf of
